The three questions
Colour analysis quiz — three questions
Three questions, one per axis: temperature, value and chroma. Answer in daylight, with no makeup and your natural hair, and you get your season and three of its twelve colours instantly.
What the result gives: your season, its three axes, three usable colours, and the two neighbouring seasons with a plain-language tie-break. The full palette is behind a single optional gate.
01 · Temperature
Which best describes the undertone of your skin?
Look in daylight, not under a bulb. Check your wrist and jaw, and hold a warm white and a cool white against your face.
Why three questions and not thirty
The whole twelve-season system runs on three axes. A longer quiz mostly asks the same three things in more words — and for a visitor mid-scroll on a phone, depth belongs in the result, never in the intake.
Why there is no photo upload
A photo cannot be analysed reliably in a browser, and asking for one would mean transmitting your image somewhere. This site keeps everything in your tab. You look in a mirror and answer in words.
Common questions
- Is this a free color analysis quiz?
- Yes. The quiz is free, needs no account and no photo, and nothing you answer is transmitted or stored. You get your season and three of its twelve colours immediately; the full palette is behind a single optional gate.
- How is this different from a color analysis test?
- Most free tests stop at one of four seasons. This one resolves to one of the twelve seasons a professional colour analyst works in, and it is honest about the limit: three questions cannot be certain, so it names the two closest seasons and shows you how to tell them apart.
- Why three questions and not thirty?
- Because depth belongs in the result, not in the intake. Three questions — temperature, value and chroma — are the three axes the whole 12-season system runs on. A longer quiz mostly asks the same three things in more words.
- Why is there no photo upload?
- A photo cannot be analysed reliably in a browser, and asking for one would mean transmitting your image somewhere. This site keeps everything in your tab. You look in a mirror and answer in words.
- What is a color season quiz?
- It is a short self-assessment that sorts you into one of the colour seasons — the families of colours that sit naturally on you. This one uses the twelve-season system and hands you a palette of named, hex-accurate colours you can shop with.
- Can I take the color palette quiz on my phone?
- Yes — the site is built for a phone held in one hand. The three questions are full-width and thumb-reachable, and the full twelve-colour palette stays in one scroll.
